Alissa Lupu is a registered dietitian-nutritionist. She was working as the dietitian for the Center for Advanced Digestive Care at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell until the birth of her daughter in November 2015. She is now taking some time with her daughter before seeking her next venture. Alissa specializes in nutrition for gastrointestinal diseases though she has practiced in general nutrition, enteral and parenteral nutrition support, liver transplant, surgery, and geriatric nutrition. Alissa graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in nutritional sciences and a concentration in dietetics. In her free time, Alissa enjoys walking and hiking with her dog, cooking, and of course doing anything with her now 6 month-old daughter.
