Akanksha is passionate about making sustainable life choices and see herself working towards providing capital access to small businesses creating solutions to world’s pressing problems. She started her investment career at S&P Global for private equity research and moved on to work as an Investment Associate at Petros Connecticut Fund. At the fund, she evaluated various small businesses within clean energy and other sectors for growth capital investment. Eventually, she transitioned her career path to support organizations within social impact space. Working at a handful of impact focused organizations such as Women’s World Banking, Social Finance India and The Cordes Foundation, Akanksha has gained exposure to gender-lens investment analysis & due-diligence, creating data-driven actionable deliverables for impact focused strategy development, donor landscaping, market mapping, and building strategic partnerships. She holds B.A. (hons) in Economics and an MBA in Finance from India and has cleared CFA Level I and II in first attempt.
