Abirlal Mukherjee is an Assistant Professor of Digital Humanities and Internet Linguistics, known for introducing the concepts of Viromemeology and Virolinguistics. He serves as a Language Expert for the IMPRINT Project at SPIRE Lab, IISc Bengaluru, and as an Internal Complaints Committee Member at GITAM (Deemed to be University). A mentor for multiple institutes across India, the USA, Afghanistan, and China, he also serves on the Fellowship Selection Committee of the United Nations Internet Governance Forum–YIGF India. Founder of University Learner and The Learner’s University, Abirlal is a recipient of the Teach for India and India School of Internet Governance Fellowships.
