NEW YORK, October 23, 2024 – Resolution Project, a global nonprofit dedicated to fostering youth-led social entrepreneurship, celebrated a significant milestone with its 10th annual Geraldine Acuña-Sunshine Young Leaders Now Award Dinner. The event, held at The Prince George Ballroom, brought together changemakers, philanthropists, and industry leaders to honor outstanding young innovators and their impact on pressing global issues.
Claire Coder, the 27-year-old founder and CEO of Aunt Flow, received the prestigious Geraldine Acuña-Sunshine Young Leaders Now Award. Coder was recognized for her innovative work in making menstrual products freely accessible in public spaces, having equipped over 60,000 bathrooms with patented tampon and pad dispensers. Mary Culler, President, Ford Philanthropy and Chair, Michigan Central, was honored with the Champion’s Circle Award for her significant contributions to philanthropy and community development.
The gala also highlighted Resolution Project’s recent integration with Enactus Global, a strategic move that has created one of the largest global nonprofits focused on youth leadership and social entrepreneurship. The combined organization now serves over 40,000 young social entrepreneurs annually across nearly 100 countries, providing an unprecedented platform for nurturing and empowering the next generation of change-makers.
