For three months, Holistic Organization plans to work with teen-mothers and children from Nyamata in the Eastern Province of Rwanda, who were unable to pursue their education, to teach intensive vocational, psychological, and social tools they need in order to be successful.

Refugee Film Festival

Anand and Devrim will be providing young refugees in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area with film making training and access to equipment so that they can create short film of their choosing. Films will then be screened at a festival hosted at their university.

ALI Leadership Institute

The venture aims to create a local urban-based leadership institute to provide young low-income students the ability to develop leadership skills over the course of 10 weeks. This institute will work to address a lack of leadership opportunities for urban youth but also get them involved in the civic engagement process.
