Tanya is an undergraduate student at the Singapore Institute of Management. She is majoring in data science and business analytics. Her social venture is called Where’s Mine? and it is an awareness campaign that empowers vulnerable communities in conflict-affected regions of Myanmar, through landmine awareness, education, and emergency preparedness. They aim to reduce landmine-related injuries by equipping children and civilians with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to stay safe. In addition to that, Where’s Mine? aims to make field reporting more effective in conflict zones through implementing and developing an offline field reporting platform for civilians and humanitarian aid workers. Tanya just completed a finance internship at a wealth management company based in Singapore.
