Ojo Roland Oluwapelumi grew up in Ado-Ekiti,Ekiti state, Nigeria. He is currently a final year Medicine and Surgery Student of the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is an active member of the International Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA) and a previous executive of the Nigeria Medical Student Association..he leads and volunteers actively in health driven initiatives aimed at community Education and sensitization on major health Topics in Nigeria. He is extremely passionate about reduction of diseases and he continually makes himself a tool for the reduction whenever required. SAFER HANDS is a venture he is extremely passionate about as educating and empowering the Traditional birth attendants who are the often the rural healthcare providers would help to reduce the present statistics on maternal mortality in Nigeria. Roland plays football and dances in his spare time. He hopes to be a specialist obstetrician and gynecologist.
