Hoziyana Rachel is an undergraduate student at the United States International University-Africa in Nairobi, where she is pursuing a degree in Data Science and Analytics. She is a passionate changemaker and a team member of Rwanda Rice Revival, a social venture that aims to revolutionize Rwanda’s rice sector through the adoption of high-yield hybrid rice technology to enhance food security, reduce rice imports, and improve farmer livelihoods. Rachel’s academic background in technology and her experience with community-based projects have equipped her with the skills to develop innovative, data-driven solutions that address pressing societal challenges. Her work with Rwanda Rice Revival reflects her deep commitment to sustainable agriculture, community empowerment, and economic development. As a student leader and advocate for change, she is dedicated to leveraging her knowledge in data science to create inclusive impact and improve the quality of life for rural farmers in Rwanda and beyond.
