BIO

Luisana is a Law Student at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela with an interest in private law. She has researched the impact of strict Venezuelan restrictions on property rights, winning a national research award from the Academy of Political and Social Sciences of Venezuela.

She is also an active member of the HNMUN community of delegates in Caracas. She is one of the 3 Founders of Asociación Venezolana para Mujeres en Derecho (AVEMUD), a non profit which equips young female law students with the leadership tools to be bold in pursuit of their goals and succeed in the male-dominated Venezuelan legal field.

Luisana is passionate about the intersection between female leadership and corporate environments, looking to foster inclusion policies in highly traditional fields. She has experience working in the Girl Up Campaign of the UN Foundation, which prepared her to embark in this journey of empowerment and growth.
