BIO

Leroy is a social entrepreneur, inquisitive learner, innovator and prober. He co-founded Greenpact, a social enterprise with his high school friends from Kenya in 2013, offering clean renewable Biogas solutions to institutions and homes in Kenya. His work with Greenpact has been featured in CNN, Upworthy, Grist, Huffington Post, Forbes, Fast Company and national media houses in Kenya. His calling to avail a similar platform—of design thinking—available to him as at founding Greenpact, led him to founding CampBuni, a conscious social enterprise that offers Human Centered Design Thinking for high school students both at KSCE and IGSCE level in Kenya, even engaging corporates for their first innovation camp. Today, Leroy is youngest 2016 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Fellow, a One Young World Ambassador and a Harvard Social Innovation Collaborative fellow. When not pursuing his entrepreneurial interests he can be found supporting Manchester United, his favorite football team.
