Komani Sinyinza is a Mechanical Engineering student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Inspired by the kindness of strangers that sheltered and sustained his family, Komani pledged to serve others through the Hope for Refugees Foundation as the Chief Operations Officer. Hope for Refugees Foundation Operates in Meheba Refugee Camp, Northwestern Province, Zambia. The foundation gives support and strength to marginalized refugee mothers so they can take control of their lives and help their children obtain a good education. Driven by their selflessness, Komani aims to cultivate hope and compassion in struggling communities. Currently, the organization’s flagship initiative, Unity Rice, promotes sustainability by producing and supplying rice to local communities, addressing pressing daily needs while contributing significantly to Zambia’s national food security efforts.
