Katherine Bernal is 19 years old. She was born in El Salvador. She is a Business Engineering student at Escuela Superior de Economía y Negocios (ESEN). She is a determined, responsible, solve-problem, positive, self-taught person. She is willing to succeed and make a positive impact in her country.

Currently, she is part of Sueños y Letras, which is an organization that aims to contribute to the grown individual and collective of children and teenagers through lecture and writing. They promote creative freedom and encourage each of the beneficiaries to be the protagonists of their own social and individual transformation.

In the future, she wants to become a professional in the STEM field. Also, one of her biggest goals is to create a tech company and a nonprofit organization focused on gender equality, STEM for everyone, education, access to mental health and building resilience within the communities.
