John Wobil attended Asarekrom Primary and Junior High School and completed it in 2010. He further attended T. I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School at Adansi Fomena and completed in 2016 as a General Science student. Through Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at KNUST, he got the opportunity to study BSc. Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Currently, he is an inventor and entrepreneur, the founder and CEO of J. Wobil Enterprise as well as Wobil Technologies company limited. He led his team to develop a wooden rice thresher (in 2019) and further led the team to develop a multi-stage rice thresher (in 2021) which is reducing post-harvest losses in Adansi Asarekrom community in Adansi-south district, Ashanti Region, Ghana. His (one active) multi-stage rice thresher has threshed 169 tons of rice, serviced 193 rice farmers, and has created 16 jobs.
He is currently developing other Agricultural machinery to ease Agriculture in Ghana.
