BIO

Jeshreen is an undergraduate student at the University at Buffalo, Singapore, pursuing a degree in Psychology. She is the co-founder of Where’s Mine, a social venture aimed at raising awareness about landmines in post-conflict Myanmar’s Rakhine’s state through various one-stop solutions like education toolkits, awareness videos and an offline reporting platform, all of which are aimed to boost community engagement. Currently, she works with initiatives such as the Singapore Psychological Society Youth Wing, that promote mental well-being through accessible, youth-driven resources and initiatives. She reflects a strong interest in youth mental health matters and accessibility to mental health resources. Jeshreen is also actively involved in Model United Nations and has represented her institution at global conferences such as Harvard Model UN in the past. Through the Where’s Mine social venture, she hopes to expand her impact by combining psychological insight, protecting Rakhine residents and mobilizing youth-led solutions that promote safety and dignity for the civilians.
