BIO

Jenish is a student of Computer Science and Economics at Wheaton College, MA. At the age of 18, he was nominated as the top candidate to receive a prestigious scholarship to represent Nepal at the United World College-USA. A Davis Scholar, he is currently the recipient of the Barbara Coleman Donnelley Wheaton Fund Scholarship at Wheaton College. In 2011, he served as the President for Interact Club of Yala, a sister organization of Rotary International, where he instituted a deep connection with community outreach. He is the Co-founder of United World for Women and Girls (UWWG), an organization aimed to empowering women to increase participation in community development. He takes great interest in dance, soccer and writing. He was awarded the “Ambassador of Dance for Nepal” by the Art of Living Organization in 2011. He played as a forward for UWC-USA Soccer team where his team finished second in the Under-19 New Mexican League. He is the Chief Editor of the annual UWC-Nepal Magazine and works closely with the National Committee of Nepal for UWC.
