Jacquelin is from a small town in Haiti called Gros-morne. He is the second youngest of 9 children. He is the first in his family to finish with high school. After high school his parents could not afford to send him to college. So, he applied for a scholarship, and out of 390 applicants was one of 26 scholarships awarded. He was selected to study accounting and business in the United States for two years at University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He truly believes he can make a difference in his country. He is very excited that the Resolution Project opened the door for Fellow Dina Duré and him to affect change in Haiti.
