Isaac Bayel is a Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Aerospace at Academic City University in Accra, Ghana. He is the co-founder and CEO of Second Wave, a youth-led venture that transforms invasive sargassum seaweed into sustainable bioplastic packaging, tackling both marine pollution and plastic waste.

In his role, Isaac leads prototyping, team coordination, and execution of innovative solutions as the company advances through its prototype stage. He has been recognized internationally for his leadership in climate innovation, including being named one of the Top Five Students in Africa for the Students in Antarctica expedition, an Earthshot Young Climate nominee, and an Oxford University Young Global honoree for his academic excellence.
