Aanyu Frances is currently a 3rd year student of Development Economics at Makerere University under the MasterCard Foundation scholarship, awaiting graduation in 2018. She is passionate about leadership and has held various leadership positions throughout her academic life. While at University, she was the Vice President of Teso Students Development Association and Gender Minister for Katakwi –Amuria Students Development Association. As founder Dash 4 Girls Uganda, she believes in transforming the skills she acquired while volunteering as a Peer Educator with Reach a Hand Uganda to help young girls in Karamojong region-Uganda make informed life choices. Dash 4 Girls believes in a brighter future for every teenage girl in Karamojong as they say no to teenage pregnancy.
