Etornam Tsyawo is a Food Systems Educator empowering consumers to make healthier food choices for better health. After navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship, she successfully pivoted her venture to found FoodPulse, a consumer food education initiative spanning multiple online platforms including LinkedIn, email newsletters and her websites. She educates consumers on practical approaches to healthier food choices that fit real-life constraints. Drawing from her unique background in engineering and food science, she brings a non-traditional perspective to food education that bridges technical knowledge with everyday application. She is also an active speaker, delivering talks on food systems transformation and evidence-based food choices for various organizations. She is currently pursuing doctoral research at McGill University with a focus on consumer food systems. Her journey exemplifies resilience and adaptation, making her a compelling voice for realistic strategies that improve food choices and wellbeing in our complex modern food environment.
