Eric Omwanda Nehemiah was born in 1990 in Nairobi, Kenya and holds a diverse set of accolades to his name. He is a new One Young World Ambassador, a Commonwealth Youth Worker Awards Africa Regional Winner, 2016 and the Co-Founder/Program Manager at Mathare Foundation where he also serves as the Secretary on the Executive Board. Eric has completed several certificate courses in proposal writing and fundraising, and drafted award-winning proposals for several organizations. Currently, Eric is enrolled at the Kenya Institute of Management Studies, undertaking a Diploma Course in Project Management. Above all, Eric also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Alliance of Slum Media Organizations www.asmokenya.org; and is a fellow to the following programs, Balloon Ventures Kenya and the Young African Leaders Initiative.
