Douglas Amoo-Sargon is a life long learner. He is part of the first cohort of the International Accelerated Degree Program between Arizona State University and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. He is currently in the second year of his masters program in the field of biomedical engineering with focus in medical imaging and imaging analysis. He is a member of Young African Leaders Initiative and National Society of Black Engineers. He was selected to be a Resolution Project fellow for his project titled Sua IT which seeks to advance computer literacy to rural communities. Douglas has a core belief in how education an be used as great tool for socioeconomic development. This belief has fueled his activities in mentoring and tutoring students using his sphere of knowledge. Douglas aspires to work in a medical device company that develops medical imaging technologies to promote health.
