Doreen Nyago is the founder of Valley Hill Foods Uganda, a social venture that enhances the value of maize by producing high-quality maize flour used in confectionery baking. Through this initiative, she empowers youth and vulnerable groups by providing employment in maize milling and quality control. She is a Resolution Fellow, recognized for her commitment to community-driven solutions.

Doreen holds a bachelor’s Degree in Records and Archives Management from Makerere University and has extensive experience in Program Coordination, Alumni engagement, and Inclusive community initiatives.

Passionate about social change, she has led fundraising campaigns to address critical community challenges, including access to clean water, sanitation, and educational resources for underserved communities. She is deeply committed to mentorship and youth empowerment, using her own journey of resilience to inspire others.

Beyond her professional work, Doreen firmly believes in the power of opportunity and inclusion to transform lives.
