Despina is an undergraduate law student at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is a fluent speaker of Greek, English, Spanish, German and Arabic. She was the Vice President of Seminars and Conferences of ELSA Thessaloniki for two consecutive terms, while being the instigator of the 1st Winter Law School on Migration Law & Refugee Issues and the 1st Intercontinental Conference on War and Armed Conflicts Law in Greece. She was also a delegate at the 13th UN Crime Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Doha, Qatar. She has been awarded a scholarship by Eurobank, DAAD, Youth in Action, the Ministry of Defense of Poland and Erasmus+, for her actions as a youth leader. She is also a One Young World Ambassador and has participated in the 9th E.Monroe Price Media Law Moot Court Competition representing the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
