Christa Bella Nibaruta is a proud Burundian currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering at the United States International University–Africa in Kenya. She is the founder of LadyLeads, a social venture that empowers young women and men in Burundi with digital and entrepreneurial skills to promote gender equality and economic independence. Passionate about inclusive communities, Christa has been actively involved in tech education and youth development, especially initiatives focused on underrepresented groups. Alongside her studies, she serves as a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador, where she helps fellow students build technical skills, spark innovation, and grow through peer-led events and mentorship. Through LadyLeads, Christa is working toward a future where women have equal seats at decision-making tables and equal opportunities in leadership and business. She strongly believes that education and opportunity can transform lives and communities.
