Kirotich is tech enthusiast who loves to engage in building tech-based innovations that drive locally viable, high impact, scalable solutions. Driven by this intrinsic motivation, he co-founded Greenchar, a renewable energy startup that upcycles agricultural waste into clean and affordable cooking fuel. He has also worked on SokoMtaani a social enterprise revolutionising how small-holder farmers connect with city markets. For his leadership and impact, he was a recipient McGill Tech Accel Innovation Fund and a finalist at the Anzisha Prize and World Vision Canada Social Innovation Challenge. At the moment, Kirotich is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at McGill University. He is keenly interested in implementing his skills to aid in decision making in health-care, revenue management and financial inclusion by institutions and governments in Sub-Saharan Africa.
