Brandon Liu is a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research India in Bangalore. As part of his fellowship, he works on 99DOTS, which uses technology to improve tuberculosis adherence. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Harvard University in 2014. As a Marshall Scholar studying in London, he received a Master of Science Degree in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London in 2015, and a Master of Science Degree in Political Sociology at the London School of Economics in 2016. He previously founded Tech in the World, which has awarded fellowships to computer science students for global health projects in Tanzania, Peru, and Argentina. Brandon has also worked at several startups, and has conducted research in computer science, computational genomics, and development economics. He has a forthcoming publication in artificial intelligence.
