Amanda López is a Psychology student at Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela. She is the co-founder of EducaMás, an initiative that provides math education to middle and high school students in vulnerable communities through weekly classes. As a person who recognizes the privilege in accessing quality education, Amanda and her team are committed to offering the same opportunities to others by recruiting volunteers, developing a structured curriculum, and ensuring the program’s long-term success and sustainability.

Passionate about advocacy and education, Amanda also serves on her university’s student council, representing her peers in discussions about student well-being and fostering feedback mechanisms between students and professors. Through her work, she strives to create meaningful, lasting change in her community.
