Aman Sariya is a Computer Engineering major from Mumbai, India. He has actively been involved with organizations, like the Association for Computing Machinery, where he served as the Vice-chairperson, and the Rotaract Club and Enactus, which introduced him to social entrepreneurship. With a minor specialization in Artificial Intelligence and MachineLearning, he was able to explore how technology can be leveraged to bring about positive outcomes in society. This is precisely how he came up with the idea for his Resolutionfunded project–Curabit. He led a team that organized the 2018-19 edition of the largest Model United Nations Conference in the city of Mumbai, the Mumbai MUN. In his time off, you can find Aman having a solid discussion about ethics in AI, trying out a new spaghetti recipe, or playing with puppies. He is particularly interested in teaching and plans on pursuing it in the future.
