Abdul is a creative technologist and social innovator. He is a United Nations Millenium Fellow, and according to the Orange Social Venture Prize 2022, he is one of the top 30 innovators creating impact in Sierra Leone. He Co-founded Altruistech Creativity Hub, a maker space that enhances digital literacy, promotes S.T.E.M. education, sparks confidence, enhances knowledge, improves mindsets, promotes effective learning habits, and inspires youth and young people (mainly girls) to inhabit a scientific and critical thinking mindset through experimentation in IoT engineering, STEM resources engagement and robotics experimentation to design solutions primarily addressing climate change, access to clean water, agriculture, and food security issues.
