Morgan Mandigo is a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist. She is a graduate of Harvard (BA ’04), Oxford (MSc ’10), University of Miami (MD ’15), and completed her residency training at Johns Hopkins. She has a broad range of local and international experience aimed at reducing healthcare inequities – from conducting HIV and malaria vaccine research at the National Institutes of Health to directing two free medical clinics in Miami. Morgan participated in earthquake relief efforts in Haiti, and helped develop community health worker programs and cervical cancer screening programs there as well. As a Paul Farmer Global Surgery Research Associate, she contributed to the Lancet Commission on Global Surgery and helped develop sustainable surgical infrastructure in Haiti. She is also an alumna of Seed Global Health, and served as a consultant in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Malawi.
