Michael is co-founder of FirstGen Content. He previously joined Bridgewater in 2008 and is the former Head of People and Talent, overseeing the firm’s HR, talent acquisition, and talent management activities. Over the last two years, Michael was Chief of Staff for the CEOs at Bridgewater and was responsible for ensuring the delivery of the CEO agenda, strategy, and company operating plan. Prior to that, he was Co-Department Head of Client Service and Marketing, where he held the operational responsibility for the client, marketing, research, and technology teams which drive BW’s advisory work with our clients. He was previously COO of Client Service, Research Technology, and upon joining Bridgewater was part of the first recruiting team that built and scaled the function. Prior to Bridgewater, Michael was a Research Principal at Egon Zehnder International, a global human capital consultancy, where he led C-level and board executive searches and co-led the transformation of the firm’s US research function. He is also a co-founder and Board member for the Resolution Project, a non-profit dedicated to investing in and developing young social entrepreneurs through an innovative seed funding and mentorship program. He is also a Board member of the ASPCA. He graduated with honors from Harvard College in 2002.
