Dr. Melanie Katzman is a strategic consultant and executive coach to public and family companies, entrepreneurial and educational ventures, and non-profit institutions worldwide. She is the Founder and President of Katzman Consulting, an international consulting consortium (www.katzmanconsulting.com) and is one of the early partners and the Brazil Country Head for Leaders’ Quest, a social enterprise committed to improving the quality and impact of leadership around the world (www.leadersquest.org). Melanie’s work enables individuals and organizations to clarify their purpose, recognize their influence and leverage it with intent – personally, organizationally and globally.

Her career began as a research scientist studying the impact of modernization and globalization on personal identity and well-being in 17 countries. She is now working with business schools in the US and Brazil to create expansive measures of success including and building on financial profit. Her research collaborations have brought non-English speaking investigators’ work into mainstream literature, providing the data to drive social policy and most recently to influence legislation in the Middle East. She frequently lectures on the integration of business and community development, passionate leadership and the magic of convening groups to multiply impact.

As a board member Melanie has innovated programs to elevate women’s leadership in academia, worked with nonprofits providing leadership training for “invisible” community change agents, and supported young social entrepreneurs. She holds a PhD in Psychology and is certified in the US and chartered in the U.K.
