Denielle is a social impact strategist, creative problem-solver and coalition-builder with equal experience in both the board room and the field.  She has over 15 years of diverse experience working across industry sectors, within diverse organizational structures, and at the nexus of business, policy and culture.  Denielle is a savvy communications expert, public speaker and storyteller at the core, with a deep personal interest in the use of art and creativity as tools for social impact and culture change.

Denielle is the former Director of Social Impact at McKinsey & Company, where she was the chief architect and leader for the firm’s first-ever corporate citizenship strategy, addressing global societal challenges including education reform, youth unemployment and disaster response.  Earlier in her career, Denielle served as a press lead at The White House, producing hundreds of events for the President, Vice President and other senior officials, and as a government relations and communications expert at several premier agencies, both in the U.S. and abroad.In 2013, Denielle founded Tembo Group, to support social impact filmmakers.  She serves on several boards and advisory councils, including Opportunity Collaboration and the Millennial Trains Project, and is a prolific writer on multiple topics, including social entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability.Denielle holds an M.A. in International Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a BA in International Politics from New York University.
