BIO

Stefan was born in Bar, Montenegro and graduated from the local primary and high school. After finishing his first year of high school, Stefan was chosen as a scholar of the U.S. State Department’s Young Leaders Exchange ASMYLE. Through this program, Stefan spent one year in the United States. He graduated in the top 10 of both his American and native high school and started studying law at the University of Belgrade in September 2014. 

After returning from the U.S. State Department program, be became part of the Montenegrin American Youth Alumni Association, a youth organization that gathers over 300 State Department scholars from Montenegro with a goal of helping them implement new ideas into local society. In 2013, he was elected as part of the Executive Board and in this position created a new department for EU projects and funds. Through these activities, the association has cooperated with 19 new international youth organizations from Europe.

Stefan has also organized and coordinated several national and international events such as: the Georgetown University basketball diplomacy camp in 2013 and 2014, civic education week in 2014, and an international human rights camp in 2014. Stefan speaks Serbian, English, and French.
