Sally is a student at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), majoring in Integrative Biology Honors with a pre-med concentration. She volunteers as a CPR personnel for Illini Emergency Medical Services, and participates in Model United Nations. She is a co-founder of the Isthmus Adaptive Basketball Initiative. Isthmus Adaptive is a wheelchair basketball team within the junior league, based in Madison, Wisconsin. Sally is in charge of accounting and logistics for Isthmus Adaptive. She works with the off-court manager to organize funds and coordinate logistics to insure that they are able to get the team to as many tournaments as possible.  Sally was introduced to wheelchair basketball at UIUC and has grown very close to the college team. Adaptive sports continue to intrigue to her, because she believes they are a spectacular way for a disabled individual to establish themselves within the global community.
