Jasmine Chia is a Thai-Singaporean sophomore at Harvard University, studying Government and Economics. Her interest is in the intersection between the public and the private good, and as such she has been involved in social enterprises aimed at improving her home country Thailand. Whilst working with farmers in a previous start-up called Happy Farmers, which aims to provide an e-commerce marketplace to use technology to empower farmers, she realized that farmers face a more immediate problem: that of financial literacy, and debt. As such, Farm 2.0 hopes to alleviate this burden in any capacity it can.
