Bio

Courtney Price is a third year international relations student at the University of Queensland. She has been a part of the Meri Toksave team from the start and now stands as the organisation’s Marketing Coordinator. She is involved in a number of activities and organisations around UQ to make her university experience even more unforgettable. She is studying Spanish and volunteering as a student leader to bring international students and domestic students together in the Chat Mates Program, as she has a strong interest in learning about other cultures and travelling the world. She has been involved in numerous Model United Nations Conferences including the Harvard World Model United Nations 2013 and the Brisbane Model United Nations in 2012, as she plans to someday have a career within the UN. She was also the Membership Officer for the University of Queensland United Nations Students Association. Courtney is extremely passionate about human rights and social justice, and is excited to put the Meri Toksave initiative into action and witness its impact on the lives of women in PNG. Courtney is thrilled to share this experience and opportunity with such a passionate, like-minded and hard-working team that all want to see an end to gender based violence in PNG.
